my bag
This is me with my bag I made from my embroidery. I am very proud of my bag. Wearing it makes me feel very happy! On the inside of my bag there is a built in pincushion where I can put my needles and pins! This is a close-up picture of my bag. The best thing about my bag is that, when I wear it I know that I spent so much time on it. Now I can use it without worrying about getting poked by a pin!

The Arrow
Stanly Smith was fourteen when he got shot with an arrow! When the arrow hit Stanly it should have killed him, instead the arrow head shattered on his skin! From then on Stanly Smith became The Arrow!
It took several months for Stanly to realize his new powers, which were that he could fly, was super strong, could turn into an arrow, was very speedy, and could shoot a bow like no other! His first experiences with his powers were when he saw a criminal about to shoot a police officer! He had run at the bully while shouting “NO”. He had pushed the thug to the ground and at the same time he grabbed the bullet the thug had let loose and stood up panting suddenly realizing what he had done. The policeman and Stanly had both said at the same time “Wow”! After that, Stanly learned his other powers pretty quickly and soon began his career as The Arrow

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling is full of danger, magic, and suspense. It is also one of my favorite books of all time!
Harry Potter is fourteen years old when he is chosen as an accidental fourth champion in the Tri-Wizard Tournament. He is faced with many hard tasks and competes with much older and more experienced wizards. He meets many fantastical creatures during his quest to beat the other champions.
When Harry Potter is chosen as the fourth champion, he is faced with almost impossible tasks. One task is that he has to fight a dragon. There are several other very dangerous things, but that is one of the worst. In another risky encounter, he fights Lord Voldemort. In the third task, a maze, Harry meets a giant spider which almost kills him. These are just a few examples of all the many perilous situations Harry encounters.
Magic is one the best parts of the Harry Potter series. It is also the one weapon that the champions get to use in the Tri-Wizard Tournament. The way that wizards and witches produce magic is with wands. For instance, in the first task, Harry summons his broom with his wand. He also stuns a Blast-ended-screwt, a magical creature, in the third task. Harry uses his wand to defend himself again and again. Without wands there would be no magic and without magic, there would be no story.
Suspense sometimes happens when you are waiting for something. One example in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is when everyone is waiting for the Hogwarts’ champion to be chosen. There is so much suspense in the Great Hall that everyone sits in total silence waiting for the announcement. Another suspenseful moment is when the reader is wondering which of the champions will get which dragon. Also, when the spectators to the Tri-Wizard Tournament wait and wonder why Harry and his fellow champion, Cedric, never came out of the maze, the reader experiences the suspense of the crowd. There are many other apprehensive parts in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but these were the ones that really jumped out at me.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is one of my favorite books. It has suspense, danger and magic. All of these details make the book more extraordinary than it already is.

Death's Door
In Death's Door there are two main characters. Their names are Herculeah and Meat. Meat's uncle is in danger from a gunman named The Bull. At one point, Herculeah gets kidnapped by the uncle. it seems like the end for Herculeah when The Bull comes into the same bookstore that Herculeah is in. The bookstore called Death's Door.
Getting to know a character is always good for a story. There were some little facts about the characters but not enough. For instance, it's impossible to tell to tell whether Mr. and Mrs. Jones, Herculeah's parents, are divorced. They get along very well but they live in separate houses. Another example is you never know why Meat is called Meat when his real name is Albert. Also, you never get told how it came to be that Herculeah's hair frizzles when there is danger. A good story needs a lot of details, but this one only has a few.
The good parts of the story were that it was very adventurous and action packed! There was one part where Herculeah saw The Bull. She pushed a bookcase on top of The Bull and ran for the exit! There was also a part where the blind uncle was driving and being chased by The Bull. These were some of the parts that almost made you feel like you were in the story.
I really like mysteries, so it wasn't quite a shock that I mostly enjoyed Death's Door. Although the book had a couple of faults, all in all, it was a good book.

Chapter One: The First Kill
As I sat at my desk, I heard a commotion outside. Quickly, I rushed into the hallway, skidding on the freshly scrubbed floor. When I got to the entrance room, my three guards were dead as door knobs. I felt dread and fear seep through me as I realized that someone unwanted was now walking through my hallways. I tried to think positive things like, " Don't worry. I've got more guards all throughout the White House. " But, the image of my three guards on the floor would not let me forget that the unwanted person must soon come across me and kill me too.

I Finished!
I finished well, sort of. I still have to turn it into a bag. I just finished the stitching and beading. The most hard or tedious part was the dots inside the circles. the most enjoyable part were the leaves and stems. That was pretty fun! The embroidery came in a kit. You can order them on line at www.aflembroidery.com . They come with a needle and thread. it's really fun! You can turn them into pillows, bags, wall hangings, quilts, and anything els you can think of! they're really awesome!

Dreadful Dinner
It's nearing midnight and all the guests are gone . Wine glasses are laying everywhere .The place is so stuffy it feels like a sauna. You're exhausted and now you have to clean up . You feel like an ant that has to haul a giant caterpillar all by your self.
You go into the next room for a hope of a better scene. Instead of better, it's worse. The piano keys are strewn on the floor, springs are coming out of the couch, crayon on the walls, mud on the carpet, and your favorite thousand dollar kachina dolls destroyed. It looks like a tornado has come through the house.
You shake your head and say.
Why me?

My favorite place to go
But my favorite place to go is somewhere quite discreet.
A place where quietness is slightly taunting .
The place feels enchanted,almost haunting.
It's a place where magic comes to life.
You may even see the Subtle Knife.
Sometimes a book will just leap off the shelves, that,of course, would be The Invisible Man.
Other times you can spot Invisible Stanley cooking an egg in a pan.
When you finally leave,
there will be a lot of books you'll have to heave.

My Worst Memory
My Worst Memory
As I lay here with my mouth wide open I try to think of happy things. But I am overwhelmed by the artificial strawberry scent that fills my nostrils. Suddenly, I hear the dentist say, “Open your mouth wide like an alligator.” I feel like chomping down on his fingers as he descends his horrible hand into my mouth. I try to swallow but I can’t with my mouth wide open. I try to close my mouth but the dentist merely sticks his hand back in mouth. I feel and taste something being spread in my mouth. I see something silver flash through the air.
Just as I begin to hear the drill, the laughing gas goes into effect. I feel as though I am doing somersaults in the air. Nobody seems to notice as I fly through the window. The dentist merely jumps after me and continues to work on my teeth. Suddenly, I know exactly where I am and, for a moment, I think my cheek is swollen. My first urge is to start running around, but I am too tired. I just sank back down and fell asleep.

Snow Day
This is a picture of my gutter with ice coming out of it. The ice day only comes once a year so I make sure that I never miss it.
